Daryle Lamont Jenkins and Eric King Help AWKWORD Launch Podcast
“You don’t have to be everything to everyone, but you can give yourself and you should give what you can to your community because you would want that back to you. That’s mutual aid. I share with you what I have. You share with me what you have, whether it’s skills, resources, talents… As opposed to exploiting and commodifying each other.”
In October 2025, AWKWORD kicked off his GLOBAL WARNING video podcast with interviews with Daryle Lamont Jenkins, founder and executive director of One People’s Project and hero of the film SKIN, and Eric King, an anti-fascist, anarchist activist and former political prisoner.
On each of the first two episodes, AWKWORD and his guest talk democracy, fascism, and anti-fascist action.
On future episodes, topics will range further, connecting past to present and local to national and global. November’s guests are:
Pam Keith — an expert on the Democratic machine, local political organizing, and labor and employment
Emily Gorcenski — an expert on extremism, protest and counterprotest, US politics, and computational mathematics and research engineering
Laura Jedeed — an expert on conservatism and far-right movements, military intelligence, and the end times
Melissa Ryan — an expert on MAGA, white nationalism, disinformation, and online toxicity
(Twenty-five percent (25%) of all proceeds from the sale of the Global Warning T-shirt go to One People’s Project, a charitable organization dedicated to fighting fascism; buyers also get an on-air and a social media shoutout!)
